Information, Advice and Guidance

In addition to our specific services, we offer individual Information, Advice and Guidance to families in Medway. These services are available to all families, our Specialist Family Support Workers will support families with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND).

What is IAG?

IAG means Information, Advice and Guidance, this is where we work with individual families to provide information and practical support on a wide range of topics. Each family will be assigned a designated Family Support Worker who will work with them1:1 to address issues they face.

What can you help with?

Our IAG service and Family Support Workers can help with a wide range of topics, including but not limited to:

  • Education

  • Access to Services

  • Poverty

  • Behaviour

  • Sleep

  • Health and Mental Health

For families with SEND, we can also help with:

  • Accessing benefits

  • Education, Health Care Plans (EHCPs)

  • School

  • Challenging Behaviour

  • Much More!

How do I access IAG?

To access IAG, you need to make a referral using our online service or by calling 0330 133 4874 (Option 1). Call us if you want to talk to a Family Support Worker to see how we may help by calling us.
